CLEVELAND — Developers are set to begin demolition work this week at the site of the unfinished Cleveland Heights apartment complex that was destroyed in a massive fire earlier this year.

Lead developers Flaherty & Collins have notified city officials that demolition equipment was moved onto the site of the Cedar Lee-Meadowbrook complex last Wednesday. 

Demolition, which was set to begin on Monday at the complex’s northeast corner, has been moved to Wednesday due to some building preps. 

The Cedar Lee-Meadowbrook site, also known as the Marquee at Cedar Lee, was left unsalvageable after a massive blaze tore through the partially-completed construction project on Jan. 24.
