A once-popular eatery that has fallen into disrepair will be razed starting Feb. 11.
C & J Contractors Inc., of Cleveland, moved its excavator Feb. 10 to the site of the former El Patio, 2933 Grove Ave., with the intent to take down the structure the following day.
Mayor Jack Bradley, Safety-Service Director Max Upton, and Ward 6 Councilman Rey Carrion were at the site to meet the contractors.
They agreed the restaurant once was a thriving business, but its condition has deteriorated beyond repair. Read More
